Howling Bells – Slowburn

Howling Bells – Slowburn

Rewind a bit (couple of years) and yours truly went to see a band play in the biggest venue in my hometown.
I honestly don’t remember who I went to see, but I do remember seeing this support band Howling Bells.
And the highlight of their set was this track, as I found out a while later, Velvet Girl.
I played that track over and over and over!

Now, almost 8 years later, the band return with Slowburn; the first track from their forthcoming fourth album Heartstrings.

Am I still impressed by them? You bet!

Howling Bells play Oslo in Hackney on the 7th of April. More information via their website.

Howling Bells – Heartstrings is out on June 2nd via Birthday Records.
