Benin City – Wha Gwan

Benin City – Wha Gwan

London’s three-piece Benin City have announced the release of their forthcoming single Wha Gwan.
The track comes from the highly acclaimed début album Fires In The Park, which is in our shortlist of best albums of the year.
Wha Gwan blasts sexy bass-lines and Josh’s smooth vocals through their signature distinct rollercoaster of styles and genres.

Is it a hit? Oh hell yeah!

Benin City – Wha Gwan will be released via Audio Doughnuts on 7th October, followed by the band’s biggest live date so far on the 30th of October in Elektrowerkz (which is why they removed themselves from the Mercury Prize competition)!
Ticket info via the band’s Facebook page!

Oh, and that Mercury Prize thing is just a joke, although they should have been in the list if you’d ask me.
