Bo Saris – The Addict

Imagine this (real story by the way):
It’s raining in London (check). You decide to open SoundCloud and have a browse-and-listen session (check and check).

After a few ‘hell no!’-tracks, this track called The Addict pops up.
Nifty piano intro followed by a warm soulful falsetto voice floating on a catchy melody. A track that Justin Timberlake wouldn’t be ashamed of! One he’d easily release as his next chart-topping hit single.

Now, here’s the thing: it’s not JT. It’s Bo Saris.
Ah, now it becomes interesting!

Bo Saris (or Boris, Bo-Rush) used to be a best-selling artist in the Netherlands. His début album and single topped the charts for a couple of weeks. He was also the winner of the second season of shameless commercial ‘talent’ show ‘Idols’ in Dutchyland.
