Savages – Shut Up

Savages – Shut Up

London’s all-female four-piece Savages were one of the bands shortlisted by the BBC for the Sound of 2013.
Despite the pretty cool Flying To Berlin single in 2012, the post-punkers didn’t ‘win’ the little competition.
However, it enhanced the popularity of Savages to a larger scale.

With the forthcoming debut album Silence Yourself is planned on May 7th, Savages have just released a powerful video for their track Shut Up. The short film from Savages and director Giorgio Testi shows the girls in action on stage doing what they do best.

The band have also announced that they’ll play London’s Ministry of Sound two days after the release of their debut album, on May 9th.
