Final Form – Barfly Camden, Feb 1st 2013

Headlining at Barfly Camden for your first gig isn’t a bad sign is it?
London’s five-piece Final Form had the honor to play the somewhat legendary small venue in Camden as their first real ‘official’ gig.

How to describe Final Form‘s sound? Well, think of Everything Everything with Friendly Fires’ positivity and the pop-factor from Foster The People. Then add a female drummer, remove some falsetto, add a sprinkle of dance and joy, et voilà! You’ve got an understanding of Final Form‘s sound!

Final Form ‘only’ played seven tracks.
All five tracks from their debut EP came by, as well as a smashing cover of Superman LoversStarlight. Their tracks Eye 2 Eye and Half Romance had the crowd dancing, and logically received the loudest cheers and applause.

They were confident enough to ask a photographer on stage to take a picture of the crowd.
Not me, as I didn’t bring the right kit for the gig.. But hey, I’m no photographer!
Oh wait, I am. Damn!
