FSM Favorite : WALL

FSM Favorite : WALL

The next in line of our series of FSM Favorites is London-based producer, writer and vocalist WALL.
Influenced by artists as St Vincent and Patti Smith, WALL creates lovely ambient melodic soundscapes with light keyboards and muted bass lines, only to act as a frame for her delightful voice. Debut single Magazine saw the light earlier this week. The track is a beautiful crafted minimal pop track, with a, as described earlier, lovely ambient sound with warm vocals.

The guys at Black Cab Sessions stepped in to get involved signing WALL for her debut single after releasing the haunting No Secrets on Soundcloud. And with WALL’s star is rising rapidly, as her gig a few weeks ago sold out reasonably quick. With airtime from Lauren Laverne and Steve Lamacq on BBC 6 Music, Huw Stephens and Zane Lowe on Radio 1 and John Kennedy on XFM, it is a matter of time before WALL’s music gets stuck in everyone’s head.

Have a listen at her track No Secrets below, which is available as a free download as well!

WALL’s debut single Magazine was released on the 3rd of September on BCS Records and is available to download on iTunes.
